How Do You Clean Scuff Marks From Wood Floors?
Scuff marks appear all over most wood floors. These little marks can be long, black lines across the floor, or simply an almost clear, but faded line. A lot of times these scuff marks are made by shoes, but they can be other things like furniture or toys. These little marks can, collectively, ruin the shine and cleanliness of the wood floors in your home. Fortunately, there are ways that you can get rid of them. Use a tennis ball and simply try to rub out the scuff mark on the floor. While it seems simple, the tennis ball has the soft surface that you will want so you don’t damage the floor, as well as the hard core that will allow you to apply a lot of pressure. If this doesn’t work, continue on. Wipe the scuff mark with a damp sponge just to get it a little moist. Then use an eraser (like one you would use for pencil) and attempt to “erase” the scuff mark.
