try gettign a stiff hand brush and some elbow grease and brush all of those matted crap out of it. the reason why it got so matted is because you out it in the dryer instead of air drying it so you let it get all matted up. If you put the toy in the dryer the toys fur gets kinky, if you air dry it it wouldn't get all kinked up.
