How Do You Clean Urine Out Of Couch Cushions?
If you have pets and small children, accidents on your couch are bound to happen. When those accidents are caused by urine, however, they can make for smelly messes that are hard to get rid of. Sometimes your toddler sleeps too long during her nap and inadvertently wets your favorite loveseat. Or maybe your cat mistook your couch cushions for his litter box. With a little patience and the right products, you can have your couch back to normal. Use a clean rag or sponge to soak up any excess urine on the couch cushions. Pour about 6 ounces of water and 2 ounces of vinegar into a bowl. You can double the amount of water and vinegar, if necessary. Wet a rag with the water and vinegar mixture, and use it to scrub the urine out of the cushions. Sprinkle baking soda over the spot where the urine was. Cover the spot with a towel for at least six hours, or until the spot dries completely. Use a handheld vacuum cleaner, or a vacuum cleaner with an attachment to thoroughly remove the baking soda
