How Do You Clean Wax Out Of Carpet?

0

Candles are a lovely accessory to any home. With so many different colors and fragrances available they can create a unique atmosphere. The downside is stray wax that can sometimes find its way to carpet and other surfaces. It looked nice on the candle, not on the floor. If rogue wax is desecrating the sanctity of the carpet in your home there’s no need to be concerned, cleaning wax out of carpet takes almost no time at all. Scrape away as much of the dried wax as possible and vacuum up the pieces. Place a piece of a paper bag or a clean cloth directly on the residual wax. Iron over the cloth with the iron on a low setting. Keep the iron moving continuously so as not to burn the carpet. It’s alright to periodically lift up the cloth and check the progress. Remove the cloth. If there is still wax, repeat the process. Dab the area with isopropyl alcohol to remove any stains left behind from colored wax.
