How do you clean white out off of a walnut wood desk?

If you mean the brand name, “White Out,” I would first scrape the white material off very carefully with an extremely sharp blade and then, since it’s a paper product, try to dissolve the remains with diluted vinegar or lemon juice. I’d then follow up by rubbing the area with mayonnaise to moisturize the area. I found, when I had a walnut coffee table, I could rub mayonnaise into spots on the table with an old cotton shirt and the spot usually came out. However, the longer the spot has been there, the less likely it will be to come out. Mayo doesn’t hurt the wood and helps moisturize it, like polish does. I don’t know if Salad Dressing or lower fat mayo would work as well. Maybe get a few packets of mayo from a deli, like at Safeway, and try that before you invest in something you don’t use anyway! Mayo, therefore, works very well if you originally meant your desk had white spots, as from drinking glasses left on the desk.
