How Do You Clear The Lint Trap From A Duet Washing Machine?

0

Recently manufactured washing machines, such as the Whirlpool Duet series, have a lint filtering system that continually filters water during the wash cycle. In theory, this means that owners never have to clean the lint trap of the washing machine. However, in practice, filters sometimes clog with lint or other items, as many parents of small children can attest. Fortunately, cleaning the lint trap for the Whirlpool Duet washing machine is easy. Drain the washer, if you’ve not done so already. When finished, unplug it. Locate the lint trap panel under the washer door. Use the screwdriver to unscrew the panel, if necessary. Pull off the bottom panel. Unscrew the white knob to access the trap. Use your fingers, a damp rag or sponge to remove lint, hair or other foreign objects that might have become lodged in the trap. When finished, tighten the white knob and replace the door. Plug in the machine.
