Qwest DSL modems connect to your telephone line and deliver high speed Internet to your computer through an Ethernet cable. If you have more than one computer in your house that needs Internet access, you can easily connect a D-Link router to your Qwest DSL modem to share the Internet connection with your other computers. Unplug the power supply from both the Qwest modem and the D-Link router. Keep the modem connected to the telephone line. Take an Ethernet cable and plug one end of the cord into the port labeled “Ethernet” on the Qwest modem. Plug the other end of the cord into the port labeled “Internet/WAN” on your D-Link router. Connect your computer to the D-Link router with an Ethernet cable.
