How Do You Connect A D-Link Router To A Qwest DSL Modem?
Qwest provides high-speed DSL Internet connections for home and small business users. Qwest DSL modems connect to your telephone line and deliver high speed Internet to your computer through an Ethernet cable. If you have more than one computer in your house that needs Internet access, you can easily connect a D-Link router to your Qwest DSL modem to share the Internet connection with your other computers. Unplug the power supply from both the Qwest modem and the D-Link router. Keep the modem connected to the telephone line. Take an Ethernet cable and plug one end of the cord into the port labeled “Ethernet” on the Qwest modem. Plug the other end of the cord into the port labeled “Internet/WAN” on your D-Link router. Connect your computer to the D-Link router with an Ethernet cable. Plug one end of the cable into your computer’s Ethernet port and the other end into one of the numbered Ethernet ports on your D-Link router.
