Sylvania combo TV/VCR components are also equipped with a set of audio-video input jacks for connecting other equipment such as a DVD player. Older Sylvania combos have a mono audio jack and a video jack. This enables you to view from another device, but you will be unable to hear stereo playback. You can use Sylvania combo units with two audio inputs colored red and white for stereo playback. All connections use composite cables with RCA-type plugs. Unplug the Sylvania’s power cord from the electrical outlet. Connect the plugs on one end of the cable to the “AV IN” jacks on the Sylvania.
