This is real easy and it works. Wait till trash day. When the can is empty, turn it over and drain it. Wash if you need to. Get a good clean start. With the can clean and dry, turn it over and put it back where it is stored. Take 1 cup of laundry bleach and pour it into the empty trash can. Close the lid. From this point on, don’t just dump open trash from the kitchen to your main trash can. Seal it up the kitchen trash first. We use the free plastic bags you get while grocery shopping. Tie them up as tight as you can. Don’t give flies anything to smell or eat. Repeat applying the bleach each week. You will notice a marked decrease in flies in the whole area.
