How Do You Convert AVI Files To MOV Files?
AVI files contain video information that has gone through very little compression. Due to the lack of compression, the video in AVI files maintains a high quality, but the files themselves are very large in comparison to other popular video file types. If you are storing numerous video files on your computer’s hard drive, you will find that AVI files take up a lot of space. You can turn the AVIs into smaller files by converting them into a more compressed file type, such as MOV. Go to the Media-Convert site (see Resources). Media-Convert is an online file converter that converts between numerous video types, including AVI to MOV. Import the AVI file. Click on the “Browse” button and a search box will come up.
