Ripping and converting DVD’s to a Windows Media Player (WMP) format such as Windows Media Video (WMV) is a simple process that allows you to upload the videos on portable players and video sharing and social websites. Converting DVDs to this format can be accomplished using a DVD converter software. Download and install a DVD ripper and converter program such as ADC DVD Converter (see Resources).
