Don’t despair. Here are a few ways to quickly get that turkey cooking and headed to your dinner table. Run enough water over the frozen turkey to remove the wrapping. For the oven cooking bag method gently slide your turkey into the cooking bag and place in your pan. Turn oven on to 225 degrees and place your turkey in the oven. After 1 and 1/2 hours turn the temperature up to 350 and continue cooking turkey as normal. Your turkey will be moist and delicious and no one but you will ever have to know it was frozen. If you do not have oven cooking bags don’t despair. Get your roaster pan out and line with foil or oil with shortening. Place turkey breast side up in your roaster and cover with a foil tent.
