How Do You Cook Beef Teriyaki Jerky In A Smoker?

0

Many people who love jerky don’t realize that you don’t absolutely have to have a jerky maker to prepare it. Just use your meat smoker to make your own homemade beef teriyaki jerky with this easy recipe. You can also substitute any other meat of your choice for tasty variations. Remove as much fat from the beef as possible. If the slices are thicker than 1/4 inch, pound them with a mallet to thin and tenderize. Cut the slices into strips the desired width and set aside. Combine the Liquid Smoke, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, garlic, onion and ginger in a large container with a tight-fitting lid. Blend the ingredients very well to create a marinade. Place the beef strips into the container, immersing them with the marinade. Cover the container tightly and refrigerate for 10 to 12 hours, or overnight. Shake the container or stir the mixture every few hours. Turn the smoker on and set it to the lowest heat possible. Remove the beef from the marinade, but don’t rinse it. Cook it for 24 hour
