How Do You Cook Homemade Macaroni And Cheese?
Homemade macaroni and cheese was meal made by my mother when I was growing up. I would watch as she carefully prepared each meal that she made. She took so many recipes with her to the grave. However, I was fortunate enough to learn her macaroni and cheese recipe before she died. Bring water to a boil in your large pot and add your macaroni noodles. Cook until tender. While your noodles are cooking put your sauce pan on the stove on medium low. Add evaporated milk, one stick of butter, one can of water and your seasoning. When milk comes to a slight boil add your cheese from one bag. Stir consistently to melt the cheese. Grease your pan with butter and dust pan with a sprinkle of flour; roll flour around making sure you get all corners. This will prevent your macaroni and cheese for stinking to the pan. Preheat oven 400 degrees. Drain your noodles and pour/spread them in your glass rectangle cookware. Pour your melted cheese milk over your noodles. Use a long handle spoon to mix noodle
