How Do You Cook Monster Lobster Tails?
Monster lobster tails create an impressive presentation on your dinner table, whether you’re cooking for yourself and a loved one or for a small dinner party. Cooking these large lobster tails may seem intimidating, but they are no more difficult to prepare than their smaller counterparts. Monster lobster tails are most easily prepared by steaming them. Step 1 Fill a large pot one third with water. Season with one to two tablespoons of salt, cover with a lid and bring to a rolling boil. Step 2 Cut each lobster tail in half lengthwise with a sharp knife. Start in the center of the tail, working carefully to avoid cutting yourself as the knife works through the hard shell. Cutting completely through the tail, both the shell and the meat, allows for thorough cooking.
