How Do You Cook Real Italian Fagioli Beans And Sausages?
As you probably know me for my past recipes, here I’m offering the real Italian fagioli beans with sausages in tomatos sausace. In a large pan prepare the soffritto with some olive oil, garlic, long sliced onion, salt and pepper. As soon the onion is getting nice and gold, add the drained kidney beans. Keep cooking for couple minutes then poor the entire tomato cant and steam for 10 more minutes. Add some chicken broth if needed. In the main time prepare the sausages. If is possible try to remove the skin without damage the sausages and pre-cook them in the BBQ or in a separate pan till get brown on all side. Cut each sausage in 3 peaces and add to the pan with an extra 2 -3 Oz. of olive oil as you like and cook for 5 more minutes. Serve hot with crispy ciabatta bread and red wine.
