How Do You Cook Red Velvet Cake?
“We’re going to take these over to the oven. We’re going to let these bake for about twenty to twenty-five minutes. It’s really going to depend on the type of oven that you’re cooking in. Believe me, you’ll look in and you’ll be able to tell if they’re ready or not. And the sure, sure sign is to stick a toothpick inside of the cake. Now if you stick the toothpick in and you still come back with cake batter, it’s not ready yet. Let it go back in for another five minutes or so. But stick around the oven, don’t go off doing laundry or take a phone call and forget about it. Because they will burn and they burn fast. But if they do burn, I’ve got a trick for that too. Let’s go. So we’re going to put our cakes in, and look how beautiful they look. We’re going to put them in at three-fifty for twenty to twenty-five minutes. Just going to slide those in.
