Looking for a quick and easy vegetable side dish for your meal? This recipe for Sauteed Spinach with garlic is easy, delicious, inexpensive and healthy! Prepare spinach by chopping off the root part of the leaves and cleaning well. Spinach leaves usually contain dirt and sand so it may take a few rounds of soaking and rinsing to remove everything properly. You can use a salad spinner for this but I find soaking in water for 1 or 2 minutes and rinsing a few times works better. Heat your saute pan with 2 tbs of extra virgin olive oil at medium heat for a minute or 2 just until olive oil thins up. Add 1 to 3 cloves of crushed garlic (depending on your taste) to the saute pan. Make sure the pan is not too hot so you don’t burn the garlic.
