How Do You Count Swimming Laps Creatively?

0

• Think of words beginning with the letter “A” during your first lap. The words you think of could be places, names for girls or boys or of famous people, flowers, trees, animals, colors, books of the Bible, your favorite words or any combination of these topics. Use your imagination! During your second lap think of words beginning with the letter “B” and so on. • Continue your way through the alphabet as you swim until you’ve swam as many laps as you want to. • Count through the alphabet up to the letter you were on during the last lap of your swim. This is how many laps you’ve swum. Begin the alphabet again if you want to swim some more laps. To count how many additional laps you’ve swum, after you’ve already swam through the twenty-six letters of the alphabet, start counting the next alphabet set beginning with the number twenty-seven.
