Cut the florist foam to fit inside the window box. The top of the foam should be about 1/8-inch above the top of window box. Soak the foam in water for 30 minutes. Hollow out two holes in the top of the foam, 4 inches from either end of the window box. The holes should be about 2 inches deep.
