How Do You Create A Christmas Table Centerpiece?
Create this easy and elegant Christmas centerpiece to grace your dining room table during the Christmas holiday season. Pair fresh roses with inexpensive evergreen branches for a new twist on the classic red and green color scheme of Christmas. Purchase a plastic window box from any discount or craft store. Paint the window box in a well-ventilated area with two coats of black spray paint designed for use on plastics. Allow the window box to dry overnight. Cut the florist foam to fit inside the window box. The top of the foam should be about 1/8-inch above the top of window box. Soak the foam in water for 30 minutes. Hollow out two holes in the top of the foam, 4 inches from either end of the window box. The holes should be about 2 inches deep. Line the inside of the window box with plastic wrap and place the foam inside. Cut the stems of the roses to 5 inches long. Line the edge of the florist foam with small sprigs of evergreen.
