How Do You Create A Flower Or Vegetable Bed In The Yard And Not Have To Take Grass Up?

You won’t believe how simple this is to create a new flower or vegetable bed in the yard that is grassy. You do not have to take up the grass!!! Just cover the grassy area with about 5 sheets of newspaper all over the size you want the new bed to be. Then cover the newspaper with black landscape plastic. Pin to the ground so it cannot blow away. Leave this way for about a week. After the week has past, push through the plastic in an X shape with scissors, then push the shovel into the ground. Make a hole big enough for the plant, add a little fertilizer, plant the plant, put the dirt back in, water it in, and put the plastic back in place. When you have all your plants in place using this same technique, put mulch on top of the black plastic. You now have a new plant garden for flowers or vegetables in the yard. It’s easy and the grass just dies under the paper and plastic.!!! I don’t know why everyone thinks they have to take up grass, you don’t! It gives you the convenience of making
