If you are bored with old-fashioned skateboards using wheels, try a hover board. Although hover boards are futuristic, it is possible to make one with current technology. Follow the steps below to make a hover board for fun or for a winning science project. Step 1 Cut a ply wood disk. Any shape works, but it is best to make it a round shape so corners won’t hurt anyone. Cut it to be 3 or 4 feet in diameter. The plywood needs to be 3/8-inch thick. Step 2 Drill a hole in the very center of the plywood disk. A 2 inch bolt needs to easily pass through it. Step 3 Cut a hole halfway between the center and the edge of the plywood disk that fits the hose of the vacuum exactly. Step 4 Lay the plywood disk on top of the plastic sheet. Fold the plastic sheet over the edges of the plywood disk, and staple into place with the staple gun. Make the sheet fit nicely, but not over-tight since it will inflate. Trim off the excess plastic sheet, and seal the edges with duct tape. Step 5 Poke a hole in th

A lot of video games include hoverboards and/or other floating vehicles. If you’ve ever wanted to make your own, here’s how! • First thing’s first. Find a snowboard that is the right size for you (from ground to nose level). The nice wooden ones are ok but the lighter they are, the better(i.e. plastic cheap ones)note: this will completely ruin your board, so don’t use an expensive one(i.e. burton) • Buy 3-4 leaf blowers. The 250 dollar ones work best, but the cheaper 50 dollar ones are fine, too. You should have at least 2 for the bottom, and one smaller on to act as a thruster. • This is kind of tricky. Remove the tube that concentrates the air in one direction, this will just get in the way. Now with the leaf blowers facing downward (the part that shoots air out facing the ground), attach two of the blowers to the bottom of the board. You will have to find your own way, because all models are different (screws work the best). Test this out by turning on the blowers and see if you hav
