A syllabus proves helpful in any class setting, including a dance class. A jazz class syllabus helps you as a teacher follow your studio’s set curriculum. This focus ensures that each dancer learns in a logical progression. Set up a meeting with all of the jazz dance teachers at your dance studio. Discuss expectations and goals that you all have for your dancers. Think about what should be taught at each level. Begin with level one of your jazz class syllabus.
