If you have Microsoft Excel 2007, you can use the data you entered in a spreadsheet to create graphs. One type of graph you can create in Excel is a scatter plot. A scatter plot is a type of graph that compares values. If you need to create a scatter plot graph, it takes little time to do. Open the Excel spreadsheet that you want to add a scatter plot graph to. Arrange the data that you want to use to create the scatter plot. The data can be arranged in rows or columns. Make sure you include a title (or label) for each row or column. Use your mouse to highlight the data you want to use to create the scatter plot.
