How Do You Create A Wire Wrapped Heart For Jewelry?

0

Cut 2 inches of wire. Or you may use a head pin, as in this video, and snipped off the head of the pin. Bend wire at the very center and create a loop as shown in the video. Grip the tails just next to the loop you’ve just created and bend down to form the two top “bumps” of the heart. Cross tails over each other. Take one tail and create a loop at the bottom using your round nosed pliers as shown in the video. Cross remaining tail over loop and squeeze together with your pliers. Wrap remaining tail around at least twice around loop at bottom of the heart. Add a few links of beads to each end and you have a beautiful adornment to add to a necklace, bracelet, or pair of earrings!
