Purchase baby onesies when they go on sale, and use leftover fabric or purchase the small amount needed. The project requires limited supplies and sewing, and you should be able to complete it in about an hour from start to finish. Fold the onesie in half by placing the snap bottom at the head hole. Mark the center width (waist width) of the onesie with a washable marking pencil. Fold the onesie in half by placing the sleeves together, and mark the lengthwise center.
