The best time of year for any political junkie is election season. It gives you the perfect opportunity to get together with other political junkies and consume large quantities of alcohol while discussing the state of the union. Election season poses a unique opportunity to get together with politically-minded friends and create political drinking games to make election results that much more fun. Compile a list of words and phrases that have been used frequently throughout the various campaigns. These words and phrases will come in handy as you watch political debates and speeches throughout the election season. For example during a debate you would instruct participants to drink each time the word “change” is spoken. Use specific issues to cue participants when to drink.
