How Do You Crochet An Awareness Ribbon?
When you wear an awareness ribbon, you show your support for a particular cause. Wear pink for breast cancer or red for AIDS, or any number of colors for a variety of reasons. Crochet awareness ribbons using a small amount of yarn, then attach a pin backing and wear them with pride wherever you go. Make six chain stitches. Crochet in single crochet stitching across these stitches for three rows to make the beginning of your awareness ribbon. Decrease the first and last stitches on the next row. To do this, single crochet two stitches together for your first stitch, then make one single crochet stitch in each of the next two stitches and single crochet the last two stitches together.
