How Do You Crop A Photo In Microsoft Paint?

0

Cropping a photo means selecting a portion of a digital photo to keep and deleting what is not selected. Microsoft’s Paint computer program does not have a crop function like other photo manipulation computer programs do. This article will show the steps on how to crop a digital photo in Microsoft’s Paint program. First, open Microsoft Paint. Click file at the upper left of your computer screen and select open. Find your file and click the open button. Second, click on icon that looks like a dashed line rectangle. This icon is located on the toolbar on the left side of the computer screen. It is the top right button. Third, you will be drawing a box around the part of the photo that you want to keep. Click at the top left corner of the box and continually left click and release at the bottom right corner of the box. Fourth, click and hold the “Ctrl” button and press the “C” button, then release. This is a generic Windows command for most computer programs which means to copy something.
