Cutting your fabric seems easy enough, but if you are not careful, you will not have two matching sides that you can use to make your decorative pillow. Each of these steps will help you to get the right size fabric cut every time. Use a prepared pattern. You may have already purchased a pattern to make your pillow. If so, simply pin it to your fabric and use scissors to cut along the outline of the pattern. Draw a circle pattern directly onto your fabric. You can do this by tying a marker to a piece of string.
