How Do You Cut Elegant Paper Snowflakes?
• Fold in half. Fold the paper in half. • Fold in quarters. Fold the paper in half again, making quarters. • Fold edge to edge to make eighths. Folded in eighths, radiating out from a central point. Fold each folded edge over to touch its opposite folded edge. Cut away anything that is not 8 layers thick. Cut away waste paper. This will make a four pointed snowflake with a pattern that repeats four times. • Fold in half. Fold the paper in half. • First fold by one third (60 degree angle) Turn over and make the second 60 degree fold. Both folds when finished. Fold the paper into 60 degree angles from the folded edge of the paper. • Cut away waste paper. Cut away waste paper (anything that is less than six layers). • Folded to make the pattern repeat 3 times. Stop at this point to make a star/snowflake with a pattern that repeats only three times. Folded to make 6 points. Fold the paper in half again, so that the two folded edges lie atop each other. This will make a 6 pointed snowflake
