How Do You Decorate Red Velvet Cake?
“We are now going to be finishing our red velvet cake with some pipping and some adding some fresh flowers. So we’ll take our pipping bag from earlier with a large star tip fold over to make a little bit of a hole in order to scoop your frosting into. To guarantee there’s no air bubbles in the bag, it’s nice to kind of shake it down a little bit smooth it and twist it again it’s to keep the frosting from coming out of the ends. So we’re going to go along the bottom and just do a very simple technique of just kind of going over itself just to create a nice edge. Move the cake and keep your hands in one position. I’ll make a nicer transition between the pipping and you can repeat that same process along the top. Or you can do what I like to do is kind of alternate the directions of your swirls going one way and the other way and just continue it all the way around the entire cake.
