How Do You Define The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)?
The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) can be defined as the process used to create a computer application program from its initial conception idea to the final operational program that has been placed into production use. A program may result from some problem, in this case problem means some task requiring a solution, or from a bright idea, or because it is a project which has been set for the company needs. No matter what the first causes for creation the computer programs, aka software, and software systems, collections of software, have a quite well-defined life cycle. The need for a program is recognized, the requirements are analyzed, a possible solution is designed, the prototype is built and tested, and finally the program is put into actual use.
