How Do You Delete Media Player History?
Windows Media Player is an audio and video file software player released by Microsoft with their Windows operating systems. Since the majority of computer owners have Windows based PCs, Windows Media Player is one of the most common video applications in use. When files are played in Media Player, it saves a history log of all files used. Open Windows Media Player. Right-click on the player and go under the “Tools” heading, and then select “Options.” Click the “Privacy” tab. Click “Clear History.” Depending on your version of Media Player, there may be an option to “Clear Caches.” You can click that to delete history of recently used CDs and DVDs. Repeat these steps any time you need to delete history in media player. Your version of Media Player may have a check box called, “Save file and URL history in the Player.” If you uncheck that box and click apply, Media Player will not continue to make a history log.
