How Do You Delete Windows Mail History?

0

Windows Live Mail, often referred to as Windows Mail, offers various features, such as offline access, calendar sharing and email account consolidation. Windows Mail saves all of the sent, received and draft emails, and even holds on to the spam and deleted messages for a short period of time. While saving messages is helpful if you need to recall an important bit of information, it creates unnecessary clutter. Deleting the unwanted messages from your Windows Mail history on a regular basis helps keep things neat and organized. Click on the “Start” menu button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. Select “All Programs,” and then click on “Windows Mail.” Choose the message that you want to delete in the message list by clicking on it once. Select more than one message by holding down the “Ctrl” button while clicking on each message you want to remove from the history. Click on the “Delete” option on the toolbar to erase the selected messages.
