How Do You Design A Control System For Robot Gripper Using PID Controller?

A PID controller may not be what you are looking for. I’ve personally never used a PID controller which transmits pulses of varying pulse widths at such a high frequency. I’ve been retired going on 10 years now, and with the proliferation of technology today, there may well be a PID controller for servo motors. The force sensing resistor may well work to produce the feedback signal. If not you may be able to tune your PID controller to operate on the actual current produced over the full span of the FSR resistance. You will probably need some additional resistance to allow the FSR resistance to produce a usable feedback signal. The PID controller, if such as needed is available, can probably be tuned to give you the response you need to limit the pressure of the gripper. I don’t know if an algorithm has been developed for this purpose or not. Anyway, good luck with your project.
