How to Dip Truffles in Chocolate Wednesday September 12, 2007 You’d think that dipping truffles in chocolate would be a no-brainer, right? I mean, the procedure seems pretty self-explanatory: take a truffle, give it a dunk in some chocolate, and you’re done. However, this deceptively simple process can go wrong in a number of ways, and can result in a chocolate coating that is too thick or too thin, mottled in color, or just plain ugly. I’ve written a few guidelines on how to dip truffles in chocolate, and by following these simple steps, you can produce beautiful truffles and other chocolate-coated candies.
