Ad pop-ups are one of the annoyances of online browsing. Web browsers provide users with the ability to block the ad pop-up windows while browsing the Internet. If you do not want pop-up blockers running on the computer, web browsers offer a way to disable the pop-up blocker. Disabling the browser’s pop-up blocker allows any site to open new windows on your computer. Open Internet Explorer. Click “Tools” menu item at the top of the Internet Explorer window. Select “Internet Options” to open the configuration window. Click the “Privacy” tab. This lists several options for your content and privacy settings for the browser. Check the box named “Turn on Pop-up Blocker” in the section labeled “Pop-up Blocker.” Click “OK” to save your settings.
