Getting a toddler to listen is one tough job. Teaching discipline is a tricky subject. But, with a little consistency, love and a very useful time out rug – your little angel can learn consequences for inappropriate behavior in no time. And, the best part is you can take the rug anywhere! Designate a rug to be called the “Time Out Rug.” Designate a specific area in your home where this rug is stationed. The rug should be sitting in plain sight where the toddler is most likely to be. The living room is usually the most highly trafficked area.
