How Do You Display An Insignia On A US Military Officer Uniform?
US Military insignia have a long set of rules and formalities for display on officer uniforms. If you are in the military, you should be able to check with your uniform department and have them set the insignia properly. If you’re arranging the insignia for a costume or for a less formal event, following some basic protocol will make the insignia as accurate as possible. Determine the branch of military that your uniform and insignia came from. Different branches use different symbols. Marines use eagles and anchors, Air Force uses eagles, and the Army uses camouflage patterns. For accuracy, you would want all the insignia to be the same type as the uniform.
