How Do You Do An Osmosis Science Experiment With Young Children Using Gummy Bears?

0

This very simple Gummy Bear Science Experiment will have your young child feeling like a big boy/girl. Allow them to do as much of the experiment on there own while you read the instructions to them. First, have each child measure and record (with your help) the length and the width of their gummy bear. (Certainly, before this step there is sure to be a long discussion on who should get what color and why, etc., etc. Let the children choose the color they want most, and sure, it’s o.k.. to snack on the extras!) Have the children put their gummy bear into their cup. Allow the children to fill their cup with enough water to just cover their gummy bear. Put the cups in a safe place to avoid spills and let them sit overnight. At this point you should ask the children what each of them predicts will happen to their gummy bear. You may record their prediction along with the measurements that were taken earlier. They will be eager to see the results of their experiment. Check the gummy bears
