Did you know MS Word has a drawing tool? You can create a great many things in word such as birthday cards, valentine hearts, flow charts, banners or cartoons. To get started all you have to do is turn on your Drawing Toolbar and click away! Here are the steps I used to make a Valentine heart. Open MS Word and from the title bar menu options, select View, Toolbars and Drawing. This will turn on your drawing toolbar and may place it at the bottom or top of your screen. From the Drawing Toolbar, select AutoShapes and scroll down to the Basic Shapes option. If you leave your mouse there, the Basic Shapes panel will appear. Click to select the heart image (or smiley face, sun, or any other image they display there). Now move your cursor to the upper left corner of your page and drag and pull down to the lower right corner of the page; this should result in a heart appearing the full size of the page.
