There’s a subtle knack for dressing the part–but not going over the top–when you audition for a film in Hollywood. Here’s how to do it cleverly and effectively. The most important thing to remember about dressing for a film audition is that you are the element about which the director and producers will make the decision … not your wardrobe. The idea is to showcase you and your talent, not your clothes. So suggesting the role subtly, without costuming it obviously, is fundamental to achieving that end. Read the part thoroughly.
