How Do You Earn The Daisy Petals Girl Scout Promise Center?
Earning the Daisy Girl Scouts Petals is a very rewarding experience for both the girls and the leaders! Daisy Girl Scouts are in Kindergarten and First Grade and are just getting started in their Girl Scout career. To earn this center of the the petals you can refer to the Girl Scout Handbook and also implement some of these ideas. Daisy Girl Scouts now work for two years on their petals. In the beginning your girls should be learning about the basics of scouting. Each of the Daisy petals represents one part of the Girl Scout Law. The blue center is called the Promise Center. Practice saying the Girl Scout Promise with the girls. Learn it together! Show the girls how to hold their fingers up while repeating the promise after you. A great way to help the girls earn the promise center is to incorporate the words of the promise into a craft they can take home. Print the promise on to pieces of paper for each girl.
