How Do You Eat World-Famous Skyline Chili?
To people in most parts of the country, pouring chili on top of spaghetti sounds like an odd combination, but for natives of the Cincinnati area it’s as common and beloved as Reds baseball. The most famous provider of this regional favorite dish is Skyline Chili-which now boasts dozens of restaurants all over Ohio and parts of Kentucky. Eating Skyline properly requires special skills. Use a bib. Although most adults have not worn a bib since kindergarten, Skyline offers plastic bibs to all of their customers. Skyline is a messy meal-but well worth it! Avoid the Skyliners. When you order your Chili-Spaghetti, your server will usually ask if you want to have 1 or 2 “Skyliners” to go along with it. Skyliners are mini-hot dogs topped with a small amount of chili and a mound of shredded cheddar cheese. Although they are plenty good, only an experienced Skyline veteran is going to want to try to pack them down on top of a big plate of the main course. My suggestion-just try to finish your ch
