How Do You Eliminate Moles, Voles & Groundhogs?
Gardening attracts wildlife from butterflies to deer to moles. Most animals that are detrimental to your garden can be kept away with a simple fence. But there are those small, burrowing critters that just can not be blocked. To get rid of an infestation of moles, voles, groundhogs or other burrowing varmints, you will need to destroy the existing population. This process can be performed quickly, quietly and humanely with the use of carbon monoxide produced by your car’s exhaust system. Wipe primer around one end of the 3-inch PVC. Cover the primer with PVC glue. Slide the reduction coupler onto the glue-covered end of the pipe, and allow it to cure for 15 minutes. Wipe primer around one edge of the 1 1/2-inch PVC pipe. Immediately apply glue to the primer-covered edge, and slide the pipe into the small opening of the reducer. Allow the glue to dry for 15 minutes.
