Being able to use most Web sites and take part in modern day Web browsing usually requires that the Java programming language be enabled. Java was created in the early 1990s by programmers at Sun Microsystems and has become a very popular programming language. The Opera Web browser is a state-of-the-art piece of software that gives you the option to enable Java or not. Open the Opera Web browser and click on the ‘Tools’ drop-down menu if you are on a Windows-based system. Highlight ‘Preferences’ and click on it. Mac users must click on the ‘Opera’ drop-down menu at the top of the browser window.
