How Do You Endorse A Check For Deposit?

0

To deposit a check into any bank account, it must be endorsed by the person to whom it is written. To endorse a check simply means to sign your name in the area designated for the recipient’s signature. Ensure your check deposit can be processed by endorsing it as follows. Flip your check over so you’re looking at the back side. Find the lines that are labeled “Endorse Here” on either the far left or far right side of the back of the check. Write your signature (your full name) on one of the lines designated for endorsement. If depositing the check into a bank account, you may need to write your account number next to your signature. Check with your bank for requirements. Your check is now properly endorsed for deposit.
