The following Nintendo 64 code allows pod racers to speed through tracks in mirror mode, in which each left turn becomes a right turn and vice versa. This option is the pod racer’s version of the “extra” tracks on Nintendo’s classic Mario Kart 64. Go to tournament mode from the main menu. Choose an empty racer name slot. To erase an existing racer, press the C-Up button. Hold the Z button (trigger) and enter RRTHEBEAST as a name. Press the L button to enter each letter. Each letter should appear in the lower left corner of the screen on entry. Highlight “End” (keep holding Z), and press the L button followed by the A button. Begin a race on any tournament track and press Start to pause the game. Press up, left, down and then right on the directional pad to access the cheat menu. The mirrored tracks option can be enabled on the cheat menu.
