How Do You Entertain The Whole Family In The Car With Only Pen And Paper?
Let’s admit it. EVERYONE gets bored in the car, especially on long trips. Even a routine trip to the grocery store can feel monotonous some days. Why not bring the whole family together (not like you have much of a choice in the car anyway) and have some fun? This game is very simple. Two people can do it, but it is more fun with three or more. One person will be the writer, and should have the pen and pen/pencil. The point of the game is to make a funny story. Decide an order to go in (it’s probably easiest to go counter-clockwise, so you remember when it’s your turn). Each person can say one word, and the writer will write it on the piece of paper. Make sure they make sense, though. (The story itself can be as outrageous as you want; just make sure the words can be understood in a sentence. “I and he blue we jumped ran car,” isn’t such a great sentence, compared to, “We jumped in the getaway car and ran.”) Punctuation, if wanted, needs to be added before you say your word of choice.
